1965 GMC Factory 4X4 Longbed Fleetside with Cummins 4BT Turbo Diesel. Runs 1940 rpm's at 65 mph and got 25 mpg before I got the 33" tires (larger) so should be even better mpg. Truck has about 2,500 or so miles since restoration and Cummins Diesel installed. BF Goodrich TA KO 33" 10.50 -15Rancho 9000 shocks all aroundTow hitch and lights installed. Body, Original GMC Cab and hood were badly rusted. A CHEVY cab and hood were found and gone through and installed. The new cab was inspected and installed with a new VIN tag with the ORIGINAL "K" Serial number to the truck which the California Pink Slip (Title) reflects. It is NOT salvage! Title is clear and fuel is still listed as "gas" Bed is Western Yellow Pine with Polished Stainless Steel StripsColor is PPG Single Stage Tropical Turquoise, forgot what the white is. Interior,Floor and firewall were covered in dynamat for noise, then fiber and then floor mat.Seat was done in Aircraft material and is GREAT,All rubber was replaced in windows.All lights work.Seat belts for 3 people.Heater, fan works along with 2 speed wipers.There is NO Radio or CD player Nothing is perfect, there is a few small issue'sThe charging gauge in the dash will not work with the alternator. The truck comes with a Autometer gauge that matches the boost and EGT gauges. It is NOT installedBedwood has some staining, easy to sand out and reapply some Spar Varnish.Heater control shut off is in the engine bay as the stock control cable will not reach it.Speedometer stopped working, comes with a complete cluster including extra gauges.Paint is in good condition, might be a chip or crack somewhere. It just came out of the paint shop as I put a small dent in the rear quarter panel. There might be something else but nothing serious. There is older you tube video's along with a build thread on 4BTSwaps.com as I assembled it. Its a great truck, I would drive it anywhere but does not fit my lifestyle with a dog and dirt bike.
