Vehicle Detail
Chances are if you're looking at this ad you more than likely know what this car is. Well, the time has come to sell my wifes G8 GXP. I'm the second owner of the car and I had to drive two states away to get it. GM made just over 1800 of these cars and what an amazing car it is. With the 415-hp 6.2 Liter LS3 this car is an absolute blast to drive. Add the fact that it's got 4-doors and you can take the whole family with you. My car just rolled over 65K miles today and has been garage kept the majority of it's life and comes out to play when it's nice out. She's never been driven it in the snow and I refuse to let her out on the road until spring once we've had a couple of good rains to wash the salt off the roads. A little about the car, it's white with the dark gray interior that's in amazing condition. It's got an automatic transmission and no sunroof. It's completely stock under the hood and the only aftermarket parts put on it was a set of axle back mufflers to open the sound up a bit. I've still got the factory pipes and they'll come with the car. The only negative about the car is last year I was in a fender bender up in DC traffic, man I hate DC traffic. The front bumper and hood were replaced but you can't tell. I've struggled with the decision to sell the car and I'm sure 40 years down the road I'll see a GXP in a museum somewhere and kick myself but alas life gets in our road sometimes. I've got two 60's era muscle cars as well as this and I'm not letting those go anytime soon. Add a couple bikes and I am completely out of garage space to the point one of my cars sits in storage all year. It's time for the G8 to go to a good home. Please let me know if you've got any questions.
