Vehicle Detail
1988 LTD Crown Victoria LX My Crown Vic is in excellent condition overall and has always been garage kept and very well maintained. Interior: The interior of the car is in mint condition. It is not worn, torn or stained. This is a nonsmoking car and there have been no pets inside. The original headliner is intact and the dash is not cracked. All of the power equipment works, the climate control functions properly as does the cruise control and even the cassette player. Exterior: The paint is mostly original and very presentable while not perfect. The header panel was repainted at some point and there was some paint work on the passenger side doors. The clear coast remains intact and the paint has a very nice shine too it. Here are a few minor dings and scratches and some very slight fade to the top surfaces but no rust to speak of. The vinyl roof is original and flawless. There are no cracks and the stitching remains. The car is very clean but I am sure a professional detail and buff would really make it stand out!! I am amazed at all of the compliments I get when I take it out. Mechanics: The car runs and drives as it should. It was completely serviced last August at 90,000 miles. The transmission was flushed including a new filter and gasket, the spark plugs and wires were replaced as was the air filter and fuel filter. Tires were just rotated and balanced and the oil is fresh. PA state inspection and emissions are valid thru August of 2015. The air conditioning has been converted and blows cold. The only issue I am aware of is oil seepage from the valve cover gaskets. There is a new set of gaskets included with the car that I have not gotten around to having installed. It was never a top priority as the oil loss is very minimal. Please feel free to contact me if you are a serious buyer. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Please do not waste my valuable time if you are just curious or are not prepared to purchase at this time. Thank you.
