This is a nice 1986 Chevrolet silverado shortbed pickup truck. Its in great condition for its age and shows that its been adult owned and driven its entire life. Its a true survivor and a true Georgia truck, starting its life at Pope Chevrolet in nearby Stone Mountain, Ga. The truck has been well maintained and taken care of over the years. Under the hood, theres a 350 cubic inch gm crate engine equipped with the factory correct Quadrajet carb. The exhaust starts with full length headers and exits through dual exhaust. The transmission is a th350 automatic which performs flawlessly. The a/c unit has been retrofit to accept the common r134a coolant and blows strong and ICE COLD! The truck runs very strong and sounds great! Drives and rides out awesome! A real pleasure to drive! The interior is in great condition for its age with a flawless seat and showing only minor blemishes in the trim inside. There has been an aftermarket cd player installed but all factory speakers have been kept and not altered. The truck is a beautiful burgundy color on the outside and only showing minor scratches from years of driving! Most of the few scratches could probably be buffed out easily. The bed of the truck has not been abused either, and is equipped with a nice spray in bedliner. The wheels are the factory correct 8 inch rally wheels and are wrapped with cooper tires showing about 70% tread life left. The truck is also equipped with a factory optioned slide out spare tire holder under the bed which i have been told is pretty rare for these trucks. I have lots of cool paperwork to go with the truck such as the original receipt from the dealership as well as original owners manual and dealership inspection. Also comes with maintenence receipts from years past. Overall this is a great truck that can be jumped in and driven anywhere but also turns every head at the drive-in!
