Selling a 1971 Porsche 911 Targa Shell. There are NO additional parts and the shell is completely stripped (no doors, fenders, glass, harness, motor, trans, - Nothing) . There is a lot of good sheet metal on this shell if you want to cut it up to complete your restoration. This shell has rust in the front suspension pan, floors and rockers. The rear seating area and rear torsion bar looks solid. The rear seat area has glue all over it, so that is not rust in the picture. The driver-side rear quarter panel is missing and does not come with the shell. You will need to bring a dolly to tow it away, since it does not roll. The pictures show there are 3 Assigned VIN tags located on various parts of the shell. Stamped VIN: 9111113544 (not in 1971 Porsche 911 valid range) DMV Assigned VIN: 9111111344 I purchased the shell from a Porsche 356 Restoration Shop in California. I just don't have the time to restore it, so I'm selling it. The shell is sold with a Bill of Sale only. Ebay makes you select a Title, so I selected Salvage since the DMV assigned the VIN. At buyers expense, I can build a wooden dolly for about $100 that would allow the shell to be easily transported and shipped. Buyer can request that I build the dolly at the conclusion of the auction.
