Zero-feedback bidders please contact me PRIOR to bidding; thank you! Please bid ONLY if you are able to pay within 3 days of auction's end; thank you! Super-Rare 1976 Jeep Honcho 4x4 Levi Edition, special ordered, fully loaded original! You are bidding on a very rare special-ordered 1976 Jeep J10 Honcho 4x4 pickup. This is a one-owner vehicle with only 56k original miles, ordered new by a long-time Jeep employee, and he got it just the way he wanted it! The truck is loaded with just about everything he could get: - 1976 J10 Shortbed (7' bed)- Honcho Limited Edition Package- Levi Interior Package- Quadra-Trac four-wheel drive - 401 cubic inch 4v engine - 727 automatic transmission- Factory roll bar- Tilt steering column- Sliding rear window- Cruise control- Power Steering- Power Brakes- Air Conditioning- Dealer installed front winch bumper- Dealer installed Warn 8274 winch w/remote- Dealer installed 20-gallon auxiliary fuel tank The Honcho has almost brand-new radial tires, and is in turn-key running and driving condition. It can be enjoyed as-is, or preferably restored to it's full former glory. The Honcho package is very rare, and combined with the Levi interior and 401 engine, it makes for a super-rare and unique Jeep truck. Clear title in hand, matches VIN exactly for inspection, export, etc. The body is virtually completely rust-free, other than surface rust, and rust out in the tailgate lower pivot points... a very common problem with these trucks. The floors, rockers, doors, cowl, hood, etc. are excellent; very minor bubbles beginning to show on the passenger door/fender (pictured in detail; VERY small), otherwise no rust issues to speak of. I have taken pictures of the underside in the floor/rocker area to show how clean they are. Original paint, so nothing is hidden. There is gray primer on the hood and roof surfaces to protect the metal, as the original blue paint failed in these areas. There is some driver's side rear wheel flare damage; can be straightened. The decals are original, and the truck sells with a full set of Honcho decals that were purchased by the original owner in anticipation of a repaint one day. Windows roll up and down properly, side and back glass good, windshield has a crack. The Warn model 8274 winch has been covered all its' life and is not only in great physical condition, it is in proper working condition as well, with the original remote control included. This man took very good care of his property. Wheels appear to be the original 8" white steel versions; a complete set including the spare. The tires are almost brand-new quality Kelly Safari 31/10.5-15 on/off road radials. The brakes have been recently gone through and are in proper working order. The AMC 401 4v engine under the hood is the original, including the factory air cleaner. An aftermarket transmission oil cooler has been added behind the grill. Known issues are a driver's side exhaust leak (donut gasket), the fuel gauge and oil pressure gauge don't read correctly (complete second gauge cluster included), the auxiliary/rear fuel tank needs to be cleaned in order to be operable, cruise control doesn't seem to be functional (mechanism is intact; I have not done any trouble-shooting), the A/C compressor has been removed (dash switch, condenser, and bracket are still present), and the aforementioned crack in the windshield and tailgate rust. The radio is an aftermarket AM/FM/Cassette, and there is some aftermarket stereo booster under the dash. That's all I've found. Again, this is a very sound basis for a restoration, or enjoy this rare classic as-is. You may call me directly at 360-936-9257 with any questions you may have. Please be prepared to remit payment in full within 3 days of auction's end via cash, major bank cashier's check (must wait for check to physically clear issuing bank prior to releasing vehicle and/or title), deposit into my Bank of America account, or bank-to-bank wire transfer. Shipping is the full responsibility of the buyer; I will make myself and the vehicle available for loading on short notice. While every effort is being made to describe the vehicle accurately, it is in fact a 39-year-old classic, and therefore being sold as-is, without warranty or guarantee expressed, written, or implied. Thank you for your interest! Zero-feedback bidders please contact me PRIOR to bidding; thank you! Please bid ONLY if you are able to pay within 3 days of auction's end; thank you!
