Bought in recent Ebay auction as a running bike. Condition was worse than seller claimed and the title had a discrepancy on the last digit. (it came with a clear Indiana title but with the discrepancy noted; I had to put something in the title field of this listing, so I put in "salvage") Seller refunded my money but couldn't afford to ship the bike back so he gave it to me. Therefore I am selling it as a non-running, non-titled motorcycle. To title the bike, either work with Indiana DMV or re-title it from scratch (not that hard on older bikes). First the good: 1. Very clean and straight frame, no rust2. New front tire, good rear tire3. Excellent chrome4. Media blasted finish on cylinders and head5. New battery6. All electrical works7. Polished side cases8. Original chain and sprockets9. Forks not leaking10. Oil and filter changed11. Original airbox and filter12. New battery13. Gauges refaced14. New points, plugs, condenser15. New piston seal and fluid in front brake16. Fairing in excellent condition According to previous owner bought from original owner (since 1981); in storage since 2002. Now the bad: 1. Tank had loose scale and rust and fuel filter was clogged2. Petcock not sealing completely3. Several broken fins on left cylinder (see picture)4. Carbs not gummed up but could use a proper ultrasonic cleaning5. Compression is low on all cylinders (90 PSI) recommend a rebuild6. Fairing bracket welded to frame, but nothing that can't be undone with a grinder in a few minutes7. Front brakes not properly bled (mushy feel)8. Needs new blinker relay9. Tank has some paint fading and several dimples on the top surface10. Side covers in poor shape · · On May-02-15 at 09:25:36 PDT, seller added the following information: Good spark to plugs but plugs are not wet from gas. Bike will start and run with starting fluid into the airbox but will not continue to run. My conclusion is that the carbs are not getting gas.
