The 250CI Inline 6 provides plenty of power and is professionally tuned and timed appropriately. A common upgrade for this vehicle is a 302 which can be bolted to the C4 transmission with a kit installed. This is a perfect ride for the Maverick enthusiast, a straight 6 fan, a former Maverick owner, or any young driver looking for an affordable muscle car.
