Vehicle Detail
This is a 1972 911T coupe. It was a running car. It has 6 carbs and a 5 speed manual transmission. This car is a time capsule as most of it is original. Work done when I started the rebuild: I had a synchro and arm replaced in the transmission by a Porsche transmission specialist. The engine had some dirt get into the oil when putting in a new oil tank and the rocker box oil tubes had some debris in the oil lines plug some holes. The cams were wearing down so I took the engine apart to rebuild it. I started buying parts and had all machine shop work done. I purchased the following: new matched Mahle nikosil lined jugs with pistons pair of used E cams checked out by the machine shop as good valves and guides installed in heads by machine shop I have receipts for all machine shop work done: Crank checked out and polished cams checked out and polished Cases have time certs installed in the cases for the jug bolts Cases checked and honed Rocker boxes cleaned out of all debris all oil passages cleaned and flushed. What is needed: New Hydraulic tensioners (I have old ones) Main bearings Cam bearings seal set gasket set Windshield is not original Steering wheel is not original side view mirror is not original All else is original Frame is solid and straight some surface rust at bottom of doors some minor rust at battery box On Apr-27-15 at 09:29:07 PDT, seller added the following information: This is a 1972 911T coupe.
