Up for auction is a rare very nice looking classic 1956 Cadillac four door Sedan Deville. In my opinion, the nicest body style and look for a four door out of any Cadillac ever made, especially in this era. And if you like Elvis, this is the one for you. The car runs good, looks good! New brakes, new battery, new tires, new hoses, new belts, new gas tank, rebuilt radiator and alternator, seats and carpet look good with minor wear, inside door panels in good shape, driver one needs minor attention, new floor mats, new spark plugs, front and back power windows all work, new window seals, and another awesome thing, I had an Edelbrock carburetor installed so there is no choke, car starts right up every time. But I had the original breather customized to fit on the Edelbrock, so it has the same vintage look when the hood is open but way more reliable! It even has a hidden high end Kenwood stereo underneath the dash with Sirius radio hooked to it, and the stereo has new speakers in the front and back. The original wonder bar radio is there, but does not work. I even have the original owners manual for it and original key. This car is driven from May to September and then stored away in heated storage. Overall, a nice clean driver and nice looking for it's age, but this is no means a show car, though people say it looks like one. The chrome shines nice but there is wear on front and back bumper. If you want a show car, it needs to be re-chromed. But it still looks real good for a everyday driver. The paint shines beautifully, but it does have minor blistering in some spots. If you want this car to be a show car, paint it. The vintage retro funky cheetah interior looks good but the middle pillar between the front and back seat needs to be upholstered. The headliner needs to be replaced but is in good shape except in the back corner there is a hole. The dash is perfect and instrument panel looks good. I had the undercarriage inspected and there are no issues with it, all floor boards are solid. The rear deck needs to be upholstered or a deck pad installed. I always put vintage records up there so I never bothered doing it. The car has been painted once to my knowledge by the previous owner. Other than that, the car shows well, and for a everyday driver, you will not be disappointed.
