Vehicle Detail
This is a NO-RESERVE auction, High bidder wins! Please read the ENTIRE description, I took the time to be as accurate as possible, in order to avoid redundant questions. 2001 SAAB SE TURBO WAGON Only 67,000 Orig. Miles!! Excellent Condition! This wagon has been in Dallas, TX. all of it's life, so it has ZERO rust.I purchased it and drove it to Illinois, only about a year ago . I ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO INSPECT AND TEST-DRIVE THE CAR IN PERSON IF YOU ARE LOCAL; OTHERWISE I CAN TAKE THE CAR TO ANY IN-TOWN INDEPENDENT SHOP OR ANY LOCAL MECHANIC OF YOUR CHOICE FOR INSPECTION (AT YOUR EXPENSE). It's time to sell one of my Saab wagons. This is a rare opportunity to purchase an extremely well-cared and maintained Turbo wagon. To sum up the overall condition: Mechanically: 10 out of 10: it needs nothing, everything works, drive it cross country with confidence, no rattles, no strange noises, does not shake, smoke or hesitate, even at 100MPH. Engine runs strong and quiet, transmission shifts as it should. No check-engine light or any other warning lights. No leaks of any kind. Interior: 9.5 out of 10: leather seats are near perfect with very minimal cracking as seen in pictures, dash is perfect with no cracks, nothing missing or broken, even the in-dash cup-holder is not broken (which is rare for a 14-year-old Saab 9-5), No missing or dead pixels in any of the displays, the driver-side inside door grab handle is starting to deteriorate (very common on 9-5's), carpet has some stains but mainly under floor mats so not noticeable, original floor mats are included and in fair condition (see pictures). Electrical: 9.0 out of 10: All exterior lights work, All interior lights work, All dash lights work, No dead pixels in display, NO MALFUNCTIONS indicated upon start-up, "Check OK", all windows work (front right window off track, $60 fix), both power heated mirrors work, A/C and Heat works, front wipers/washers work, headlight wipers/washers work, rear defrost works, rear wiper works, front heated seats work, rear heated seats work, memory function works, remote key fob works, all power door locks work Except driver's door (works with key though), sunroof works. The original Harman Kardon sound system works great, the original 5" subwoofer was recently replaced with an 8" unit and sounds fantastic. Exterior: 8 out of 10. For being 14 years old this wagon looks amazing but it does have your usual shopping cart dings and small scratches (see pics). All 4 alloy wheels are in great shape with NO curb rash and NO peeling or blisters. Front and rear bumpers have some scuff marks and other minor blemishes as I've tried to highlight in the pictures. Overall: It's a great, dependable vehicle that runs great, looks amazing from 10 feet away, and the interior looks like a 2-3 year old car, not 14 ! Recent Services Performed: * New tires about 1,000 miles ago. * New Ignition Cassette from Europarts (Not China) and new NGK spark plugs installed, 6 months ago. * Oil Sump dropped, cleaned, and checked with NO sludge found (updated PCV system was already installed before I purchased this wagon). I Cleaned the screen, added new O-rings and Anaerobic sealant installed. (I do this to all my newly-acquired Saabs for my own piece of mind). * New front timing cover seal (crank seal) and oil pump seal installed (again, preventative maintenance). You will not be disappointed. You are welcome to send me your best and highest offer via email or try your luck in the auction. New rollers installed. On Apr-30-15 at 11:29:27 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE (4/30): I removed the door panel for the driver's door to check the window rollers on that side, they looked new. But as I was putting the panel back on, I noticed the connector to the power lock motor had come off, I pushed the connector back in and checked the operation of the driver's door power lock...it works like a charm. So now, ALL power locks work like they should. end.
