1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer This is like no other Grand Wagoneer as it is fitted w Electronic Fuel Injection – making it start on the first try (if you are new to Wagoneer’s the 5.9L V8 is notorious for being hard to start all year round and the FUEL INJECTION makes it start just like a normal car would) The Fuel injection gives it a lot more 'get up and go' as well as better fuel economy and is a must for any Woody that is being enjoyed regularly. It is absolutely beautiful and attracts tons of attention when taken out it is also rust and rot free and of course cosmetically beautiful. I do have a full history on the Woody as well as all the books and documents from when it was purchased new and I am the third owner. Mechanically needs nothing as everything works great - ready to enjoy. The transmission was rebuilt in September and is warrantied. The engine does not leave any oil stains or drip at all and the underside is dry (including the chassis). It has got a brand new set of Goodyear Wrangler premium tires (with about 4000 miles on them). It recently had all the fluids and other wearable items changed such as breaks and related. It has been meticulously maintained and cared for. This vehicle is in 100% stock and YES it does sport the original Radio that works just like when it left the factory. The body is straight has some very very minor wear. The wood grain is original and in excellent condition with no fading including the trim. The body-including chassis is rust-free and rot free and nearly flawless except for a few small blemishes. The interior is in excellent condition and everything works including all gauges,switches, cabin lights, windows, locks, seats and so on. The vehicle is also smoke-free and smells very nice and dry. Mechanically the vehicle is in excellent condition. The engine runs perfect all around and get better millage and power than a stock step up because of the Fuel Injection. All the fuel injection paperwork is on hand and included with the truck. The transmission shifts like new ( as its rebuilt ) the suspension delivers a smooth and comfortable ride and the steering is for a Wagoneer is tight and gets no shake or wobble at 80-90 MPH. The four-wheel drive system works flawlessly. The undercarriage is in excellent condition and is, again, bone dry / rust-free. The tailgate and rear window work perfectly. Everything on this truck from the cigarette lighter (for the phone charger) to the fog lights to the radio work perfectly. I did notice a pinhole exhaust sound that developed recently and should be a quick fix.
