I am parting with my 2002 BMW X5 4.6is with 340 hp. This is my daily driver and I put about 800 -1000 miles a month on it. I have already purchased another vehicle so this one will not be driven very much until it is sold. This care is running absolutely perfect. Car has high miles but all of the following work has been done in the last 12 months. This car runs perfect and rides like new. With the cost of the car and the work I have about $18,000 in the car alone. I am not looking to get all of this back as it was my choice to get all the work done and now have to let it go. I do have a small loan on it that will require me to payoff vehicle and get the title in about 3 working days. This SUV runs perfect and is a blast to drive. It is in the rare color of Imola Red and has an even more rare Piano Black Interior with the Sport package. Some of the interior is painted red with Plasti-Dip and will peel off if you do not like it. Head lamps and tail lamps are tinted and they peel off if you do not like them and you can just put them back on. Windows are tinted and I have tint for the front windows that I have not put on yet. All power options with front and rear heated seats, navigation, premium sound and Napa leather. I put semi-custom seat covers on the car when I got it since I have 4 children. I have taken them off this weekend to get pictures and show how good the condition is. They appear to have never been used and that is why I covered them. Drivers seat shows very little wear if any at all. 20 inch factory wheels that are painted black with Plasti-Dip. If you are not familiar with it, you can just peel it off if you do not like it or just touch them up if they get scratched. They have been painted for about 4 months now with no issues. Brake calipers painted red as well and look great with the black wheels. 1.Engine rebuilt with new heads, lifters, gaskets, timing chains and guides, fuel pump, spark plugs and coil packs February 2014 11,000 miles since rebuild with no issues ($2500) 2. Transmission and torque convertor completely rebuilt February 2014 10,000 miles since rebuild with no issues. ($1800) 3. New air bags for rear suspension ($500) 4. new coolant tank ($160) 5. new radiator and hoses - October 2014 ($285) 6. new battery - 2014 ($150) 7. new windshield washer pump - 2014 ($12) 8. new passenger front door handle and window guide - 2014 ($150) 9. 2 new rear tires with about 8,000 miles on them. good front tires with 50% tread ($800) 10. new front and rear brake pads July 2014 ($500) 11. CV Joints front replaced Fall 2014. ($519) 12. Power Steering line March 2015($200) 13. Front and Rear drive shaft March 2015 ($900) I have people ask me all the time about how new my car looks and then they ask what year it is. They are always shocked. This is by far one of the best looking X5's out there next to the older model M versions that came out soon after this model. ISSUES: there are a couple of small door dings that were on the car when I got it as well as one on the front left fender. Small rock chips on hood as exptected for this year model. The digital display is hard to read on one side and is very common with BMW's as well as the permanent clouds on the navigation screen. I believe in being honest and these are the only things anyone would notice if driving. It will also need front tires at some point as they are old but not worn. It is 13 years old and looks new....but it is still 13 years old. There are NO mechanical issues that I am aware of as everything recommended by Roadshow BMW in January 2014 and more has been completed. Pictures speak for themselves. Vehicle is sold as is with no warranty. What you see is what you get. I drive her everyday 20 to 40 miles for work and kids sports. Vehicle gets about 14 in the city and about 21 on the highway.
