SELLING AT NO RESERVE!!! 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser w/ 2.4 Liter non-turbo engine. This PT Cruiser has approx. 96,250 miles. This item is being listed again due to the recent WINNING BIDDER NOT FULFILLING HIS END OF THE TRANSACTION. He's definitely a black eye to those of us Ebayers that treat our auctions as binding contracts. Enough of the drama already, let's get on with the listing. :) Unfortunately as you can see by the photos this PT sustained front end damage on 2/23/15. Prior to that it was a great running and driving car. In fact this car was driven from Joshua Tree to Chatsworth and back to Joshua Tree (approx. 350 trouble free miles) on 2/7/15. The front brake rotors and pads as well as the rear brake drums and brake shoes were replaced shortly before that trip. I would venture to guess there are less than 500 miles total on the new brake parts. The battery and battery ground cable sustained damage (cut by the Fire Dept?) during the accident. Also the plastic intake manifold has suffered damage as well. Therefore I'm unable to run the engine at this time. But again, it was running great prior to the accident but no idea if it will run again or not. The interior of the car is in good to very good condition (see photos). The only broken glass appears to be the windshield (which was just replaced @ 96,187 miles on 2/15/15 due to rock damage.) The rest of the door glass as well as the 5 doors themselves appear to still be in good condition. Please consider this a "PARTS ONLY CAR" and bid as such. This would be a great project car for someone that has the time, tools and the space necessary to part it out and sell the parts individually. We just don't have that option ourselves. Car will be sold AS IS/ WHERE IS (Joshua Tree Ca 92252) with a current clear title and no express warranty of any kind implied. As mentioned earlier, we have no way of knowing the extent of the damage and the low selling price of the car reflects that. Please do your own due diligence as far as inspecting the vehicle prior to bidding. I want you to have 100% confidence in what you're bidding on. Viewing can be arranged MOST ANY TIME during the week or weekends. Please save us both the unnecessary hassle and DO NOT BID unless you fully intend to complete the transaction. My time is valuable just as I'm certain yours is. Let's not waste either of ours. And unfortunately, due to the liars and flakes that seem to be overabundant lately, a NON REFUNDABLE $200 deposit via Pay Pal is required within 24 hours of auctions end. Sorry, Mr. Nice Guy has left the building! The remaining balance can also be paid via Pay Pal prior to the time the vehicle is picked up. As you can see my Feedback is extremely important to me. Therefore viewing in person is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and can be arranged MOST ANY TIME during the week or weekends. All shipping arrangements will need to be made by the winning bidder. I will also do my best to help make it as easy as possible for the shipper/transporter to gain access to the car. Once the car is paid in full it is possible to allow reasonable time for winning bidder to make arrangements to have it towed to your preferred destination. Thank you for looking.
