This BMW has over 200K miles on it and the engine runs very well. There are partial records of regular oil changes, which likely explains the condition of the engine. It was a daily driver until it developed an issue with the clutch pedal which won’t return. I have not had it diagnosed, and it may be the clutch slave cylinder or could be the clutch itself. The AC was not working when it was parked. The seats were recovered and the carpet replaced in 2008, based on a receipt for $1300.00 in the owner’s manual. The headliner needs replacing, and the rest of the interior has normal wear and tear. There is a tear in the driver’s side seat bolster. The exterior also has normal wear and tear including small dents and dings. The top surfaces all have clear coat issues. There is no rust on the vehicle, and based on the previous owner’s records, it has been in the South since new. My opinion is that it could be repaired to drive, or it could be used for many valuable rust-free parts. The car is not drivable and will require towing from our facility.
