Up for sale is my 1984 AE86 Corolla SR5 coupe and a lot of extra parts for it. I believe that I am the third owner of this corolla, but am not completely sure about that. I absolutely love this car and it has been a great daily driver for me for the last 7 years but the rust issues are beyond my ability to fix. Car is reliable and a runner; I have been driving it back and forth to work 80 miles a day for most of this time. It is the desirable AE86 model with rear wheel drive and auto trans., and it is inspected until 2017 (recently passed). THE GOOD: Comes with the following extra parts: --4 15x7 XXR rims with ) offset and tuner lugs (have some road wear and 2 have good tires still mounted) --JDM Zenki Trueno bumper cover and brackets purchased new several years back and mounted on car --JDM Kouki Trueno grill emblem purchased new --JDM correct used Zenki Trueno grill --JDM new Zenki Trueno turn signal lights (OEM and in original Toyota packaging, not yet installed) --JDM used rear Kouki Trueno rear bumper and rear bumper mount brackets uninstalled --Good used trunk lid with no rust issues to replace rusting one currently on car --Side window and rear window louvers; need repair and currently not installed on car (just set on car for pictures) and missing mounting hardware --Good original USDM grill included --Clock still works great!!! --Heat works but takes a while to warm up on the really cold days --Engine and transmission work great, no problems at all! --2 brand new sets of yellow fog lights if you decide you want to go for that "Initial D" look THE NOT SO GOOD : --Car has rust in/under rocker panels, on leading edge of roof next to front windshield, around gas tank door, in trunk, on sides of trunk floor, in/on wheel wells, on hood, on wiper arms and on driver's side engine bay wall --Has A/C but needs a charge or converted to newer materials --Radio is aftermarket and junk, CD disc changer sometimes works, sometimes does not (should be replaced) along with several speakers --2 small tears in driver seat from wear, passenger seat is good --missing some rear seat belt parts --if gas tank is filled to top, it sometimes will overflow when it expands (poor aftermarket tank design and I usually run it with the tank only half full to avoid this) --car will sometimes stall when put into reverse when cold, but does not stall when driving! --trip odometer not working, but electric mirrors do. --wiper blades additionally held on by zip ties but j hooks are there If I were to keep this car I would just keep using it as my daily driver, it has never left me stranded. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere, it has been that reliable for me! There are many good parts on this car, many of which could be used on a GTS. Shipping cost/method is the responsibility of the buyer, but if you are in the NY/NJ/PA/CT area you could always pick it up and drive it home. A $100 non-refundable paypal deposit is required of the winning bidder within 24 hours of winning the auction, with the balance to be paid by personal check, cash or certified bank check. Once cash payment is made or check clears my bank then clear NJ title will be released to new owner.
