Re-listed due to non-paying "buyer;" please, NO ZERO-FEEDBACK BIDDERS PRIOR TO CONTACTING ME FIRST! Please only bid if you can afford to, and are ready to pay promptly. Thank you. You are bidding on the last of the cool Plymouth Dusters... the 1975 Valiant Duster, equipped with the factory "Space Duster" package which featured a fold-down rear seat and drop-down panel that opened into the trunk area... you could literally put a sleeping back in the back seat and stretch out... very cool. Super Six slant-six 225 engine is pretty much bullet-proof. It's got 144K miles on it, has a fresh tune-up, fresh oil, coolant, new battery, and a new replacement factory carburetor... runs well, stays cool. A little engine noise on start-up, goes away as soon as she's warmed up. Easy starting, runs smoothly, runs out and drives just as it should. Originally green, it's been repainted in a more "aggressive" green metallic; a 10-footer that is really showy against the factory white 3/4 vinyl top. The interior is original green with the seat inserts having been redone in green diamond tuft pattern... overall very good condition. Headliner has a few scratches, but is solid and looks good. Dash pad and gauges excellent, everything works, radio gone. Lower dash could use some detail work, but still nice. Body is really straight, with the only damage being a ding/dent on the front of the hood. The exterior trim is fantastic, including an excellent grill, tail panel, and other exterior trim. Stock wheels, good radial tires, nice factory wheel covers. A period ride with a cool vibe, good gas mileage, and you can actually camp out in the darned thing! No rust that I can see; floors feel solid, spare tire well is dry. I didn't paint it so I don't know what's under if any, but no evidence of rust bubbles or any other covered up damage. Fender tag still present. ViN matches the clear title exactly for export, or registration in states that inspect vehicles. Not a perfect car, but a great-looking car and a lot of ride for the money. You may call me at 360-936-9257 with any questions you might have. Please be prepared to remit payment within 3 days of auction's end via major bank cashier's check (must clear the issuing bank prior to mailing out title and releasing vehicle), bank wire transfer, or deposit into my Bank of America account. While every effort has been made to describe the Duster as accurately as possible, it is in fact a 30-year-old classic, and therefore being sold as-is, without warranty or guarantee, expressed, written, or implied. I am not a professional vehicle inspector, rather a classic auto enthusiast with a good eye. I've gone over her thoroughly and disclosed everything I could find, positive and negative. This is a great car that is going to make someone very happy! Shipping is the full responsibility of the buyer; I will make myself available for your carrier.
