Vehicle Detail

1970 Porsche 911T Non-Sunroof Coupe No Reserve Consider this car a project car. I bought this car 3 years ago and just no longer have the time or space to work on it. The car is a 1970 Porsche 911T Non-Sunroof Coupe with a 1969 2.0 liter engine and 901 5 speed transmission. VIN: 9110123826 Engine Number: 619722 Mileage: Unknown? Original Color Code: Blue The engine is actually a 1969 911E engine that was rebuilt into a good 69 911T engine case. All of the 911E parts are present. The ’69 MFI system is all there, the cylinders are aluminum, the cams and pistons are all 911E. The engine seems to run well! I think the car has a fuel pump issue because after driving it for a few minutes, the car seems to run out of gas. It has the Carrera chain tensioner upgrade. I had a leakdown test done 3 years ago and it was 4-5% on all six cylinders. With a little tinkering and maybe a weekends worth of tuning, I really feel this will be a nice driver. The exhaust is solid. The heat exchangers are in OK shape. Some dents and small holes. The brakes seem to work OK. They don’t hang up. The ATS Cookie cutter wheels are real nice and the tires are brand NEW. All glass and chrome trim are excellent, but painted black to look like a newer 911. The interior has a decent dash. It has a couple of the usual cracks. The seats are a little rough. They appear to be from a 1974 or newer 911. The door panels aren’t bad. They are done in a cloth material. The steering wheel is a Fitipaldi and is like new. All of the floor pans have been replaced with new. The rocker panels look like new replacements. The only rust on the underside is on the right side of the fuel tank. See the pictures. The rear bumper is from a newer 911. I don’t have a matching one for the car. In fairness to all, I will not end the auction early, I do not have a buy-it-now price, and there is absolutely no reserve. The high bidder will own this car! I will assist in overseas shipping, but it is your job to find a carrier and rate. I am waiting for the title which should be in my hands by auction end, however, it is out of my control and might be a few days following the auction end.
