Up for auction 1986 HONDA Z50RD special Christmas edition. This bike looks amazing.These bikes are very well know so, i don't have to tell you how rare they are and how much they are going up in value. This bike has been in my personal collection for 7 years. I got the bike from my parents camp grounds from an old couple that would use it to get around when needed ( they purchased it new). The couple didn't like the red grips or red seat when i got it so that was the first thing i changed when i got the bike with reproductions. The original tires did have some dry rot so, I replaced them with correct new original IRC tires.While I had the tires off i re-chromed the original rims and polished the original brake hubs and drums. NOS parts, I installed NOS front fender, rear fender, chain guard, throttle cable, brake lever and many other small nuts bolts to complete the new again look. The gas tank does have a handle bar dent on the right side and a very small dink on the left 'side on the Honda decal. How does it run? It run very smooth as seen in the video and shift like butter and doesn't pop out of gear. The engine ID tag on the motor shows how little run time is on the bike. There aren't many bike i have seen that the tag exist. There are some rust spots here and there but expected on a used bike. A $1000 dollar non-fundable deposit is required 48 hours after end of auction. Shipping, i will ship the bike at the buyers expense but, i will help with arrangement.
