1983 Mercedes 300cd. Runs very well and the trans shifts perfectly. Just had the oil changed and had the turbo professionally rebuilt ($600). In the past two years it has had new tires, New brakes, New steering box, New A/c compressor, New Exhaust, New fan clutch, New battery, New Vacuum pump, belts and air & fuel filters. Kenwood stereo with ipod and usb hook up. (The original Becker radio will also come with the car). The sunroof was operating slowly so I had it professionally disassembled and re greased. Full transmission service including new modulator. Current Virginia safety inspection. Drives beautifully and has been very reliable. There was a high end repaint at some point and it shines beautifully. Has 5 chrome rims including spare with new tire as well. A couple of the rims are beginning to peal a little. I welcome anyone to come to Alexandria Virginia (about 4 miles from the Pentagon) to come and inspect the car. I am setting the reserve very low. I have seen this model sell for two or even three times my reserve. They include: Engine mounts, Trans mount, Air cleaner mounts, Starter, Tachometer amplifier and hand primer pump. And to answer another question, The original triangle safety reflector is complete and mounted in trunk lid. Yes, a dash cover was installed due to cracking in the original dash. The apparatus on the dash is a hard mount for a Garmin GPS with power hook up. I never liked the wires going to a power port. The mount will stay but no Garmin unit comes with the car.
