BILL OF SALE ONLY! We think this was imported by a military person & never titled. It is ALL GERMAN. Stuttgart factory; both factory rivited number plates. MOTOR IS TURNING HARD (WITH PLUGS REMOVED). looks to have been rebuilt, but may have been oil blocked/starved at initial start attempt after long time storage (new oil in crankcase & did start; 15 seconds later with no noises, stopped as if ran out of gas)??? 1966* Porsche 912. All original; miles are thought to be accurate. Only thing not original are the custom *metal fender flares. It has been cleaned up since the pictures showing. Also done (before, & as prep for the initial start) : gas tank removed, drained & cleaned (looks to have had some gas stabilier mixed with gas); some new gas hoses/clamps; new electric fuel pump-starter-gas tank filler tube hose-new metal gas tube to carbs-new accelerator spacer ($124 from Pelican Parts), one new lift/hold up cylinder for engine hood, etc. This did turn with the starter & kicked with ignition before quit & semi-stuck. The carburetors were thrusting gas out of the jets when gas pedal, or linkage was pushed. The headliner, seats & surrounds are fixable (just mostly need "cleaning". The dash is perfect with no cracks. The face aluminum panels on dash front are off, but I have them (might be a picture added here or available. Some dings & paint flaws, but 97% rust FREE! NO holes in floors or rockers. See trunk also(look past the dirt :)). Clean smooth rust free roof. BOTH number plates are in original places. Has jack & various parts. Old 912 repair manual also. 97% rust FREE! The motor number is number is1284663. On Apr-05-15 at 18:10:51 PDT, seller added the following information: Rolls/steers easy. Needs master cylinder so brakes are not working. All metal brake lines look fairly recent. Have all of u seen the 1966 "912" motor "as is" on Ebay for $5000? I've been told locally, the motor can be rebuilt & back into car long before then. With brakes working, new tires, rebuilt motor, $20k will be minimum price.
