2012 Shelby GT500 Up for sale is my 2012 Shelby GT500 performance Mustang. The color is Grabber Blue – a gorgeous color and one you don’t see often. According to the Ford Performance Group, it is 1 of 173 Shelby GT500 coupes made in Grabber Blue, and 1 of only 46 with the SVT stripe. The paint is impeccable and without blemish. The vehicle is in excellent condition and lovingly cared for (I’m selling it to make room for something new – and I want it to go to a good home).There is a small nick in the driver side rear wheel, and I took a picture so you could see. I am the original owner. It was never smoked nor eaten in. It was never parked nor driven in the rain or snow, and always parked inside. It has spent late fall, winter and early spring each year in my heat and humidity controlled garage under a Shelby car cover and on a battery tender. As you can see in the pictures, the stickers and tags are still on the undercarriage. Car was purchased 6/2011 and oil was changed yearly at the following miles: 1131, 1722, 2487, and 3133. Here’s some of what it has: Grabber Blue w/ white Lemans top stripe and GT500 rocker stripes 5.4 L SC 4V V8 engine (550hp and 510 ft. lb. of torque) 6 speed manual transmission Aluminum hood with air extractor Shaker 500 Audio system Leather sport bucket seat (charcoal black with white stripes) Electronics package w/ Navigation SVT Performance Package 19” front / 20” rear Aluminum wheels with high performance tires Clear Shield paint protection film on hood, fenders and leading edges of car Light window tint (35%) Current mileage is 3163, but this may change slightly as it may be test driven while it is offered for sale. There are no issues with the car and never have been. The car has never been involved in an accident and it is in beautiful condition. This car is basically a new car that I have enjoyed, but now it’s time for someone else to enjoy it. Why buy a new GT when you can have a Shelby GT500 SVT for basically the same price? I have tried to describe this vehicle as accurately and honestly as possible but please remember it is a (very lightly) used vehicle. As with any vehicle, either new or used, there may be issues that I have overlooked, missed or simply aren’t aware of. I am a car enthusiast – not a mechanic or automotive inspector. As you can tell from the pictures, low mileage and documentation, the car was carefully taken care of. I will be happy to make the car available for your inspection or that of a certified mechanic/inspector, just contact me first. I want you to be happy with your purchase, so if you have any questions or concerns contact me. I offer a hassle free transaction and I expect the same in return. I try to describe my items as accurately as possible. I do not want to waste my time or yours by inaccurately describing items. PAYMENT: $500.00 deposit due immediately through PayPal, and I must receive full payment within 7 days of sale. I will accept payment in the form of cash, wire transfer or via certified bank check. If you chose to pay by certified bank check, the car and title will not be released until the funds have cleared. I will meet you at my bank to attempt to speed the process, however, remember the car and title will not be released until my bank tells me the funds are cleared. If you choose to pay by cash, I will also arrange to meet you at the bank if that makes you more comfortable. I DO NOT accept personal checks - ever. PICK UP / SHIPPING RELATED INFORMATION: Unless an agreement has been arranged in writing prior to the sale, the vehicle has to be picked up either by you, your designee or a shipping company within 7 days of completed sale. Any shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer. I will assist you by making the car available on a mutually agreed upon date/time, including delivering at a nearby location for ease of loading. But if you win it and want to ship it, you will have to pay for it and have someone come get it. STORAGE: I will store the Shelby in my garage for up to 30 days from date of sale if vehicle is paid in full within the 7 days required, and an agreement was reached in writing prior to the sale. However, if the title has been transferred you will have to insure it on your policy and you will have to provide proof of insurance. If title is still in my name, I will keep coverage as is. Either way, I will not store the vehicle without it being covered by insurance. If title is transferred in your name and you do not want to provide insurance, sorry but I will not store car. This protects both of us, and the car. Under no circumstances will i store the car longer than the agreed 30 days TERMS AND CONDITIONS: If you are the buyer and fail to pay, I will follow up with every legal avenue I have available. This is a legally binding contract. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: This is not a fire sale. I am looking for a legitimate price from a legitimate buyer. Please don’t waste my time or yours with lowball offers. If a sale is made you are entering into a legal and binding contract to purchase the above-described car. Please do not take this lightly. (And if applicable, make sure you get your wife’s permission before you hit the buy button) The full payment must be made in 7 days and will be consummated in a manner agreeable to both the buyer and the seller, but with assurances to the seller (that’s me) of certainly of funds. In other words, payment must be via Cash, Wire Transfer or Certified Bank Check. NOTE: IF YOU PAY VIA CERTIFIED BANK CHECK, I WILL NOT RELEASE THE TITLE OR CAR UNTIL I VERIFY WITH THE ISSUING BANK AND MY BANK THAT THE CHECK IS LEGIT, VALID AND THE FUNDS HAVE CLEARED. No personal checks, no lines of credit, no trades or pledges from your 401K plan please. Remember to pick up the car that means that the Certified Bank check must completely clear and funds must be in my account, the wire transfer must be confirmed and funds transferred into my account, or you hand me cash. Waiting for the Certified Check to clear may take time, perhaps a few days or longer. I have absolutely no control how long it takes the banks to clear the check. Therefore, if you want to expedite the purchase, I suggest you use a wire transfer that I can verify or pay via cash. Lastly, the vehicle is sold as is, where is, with no warranty implied. No representations or warranties are made by seller, nor are any representations or warranties relied upon by buyer. Wish it didn’t have to come down to all this, but there are some unscrupulous people out there, and I’ve been burned. I reserve the right to end this sale early for whatever reason I choose, that includes if I decide to sell the car locally or even if I just change my mind and decides to keep it.
