I built this Ghia 5 years ago to try and subdue my want of a custom 356 Porsche Outlaw, it has done well but now it is time for someone else to step up and take it beyond what I have done. It had a 2110cc motor but I broke a belt and burned it up so now it has a stock-ish 1600DP with single weber. The front nostrils are no longer aluminum those have been welded up and smoothed into intakes, all major problem areas have been replaced with new metal, I have all (I think) receipts from the original build and photos should you end up wanting them. This is a Karmann Outlaw, not stupid over the top custom or straight stock rebuild, but in my mind and the mind of others a very tasty interpretation of a VW Karmann Ghia gone Outlaw. I have won best in class at every show I have entered in, the interior is Porsche inspired as you can see in the pics. The color is a mat metallic silver to give the appearance of an old original 550 Porsche. The gauges are PORSCHE not knock offs from some Eastern Country, the wheels are Brazilian Ghia wheels, it has 2" front drop spindles, custom sewn red Porsche style low back seats German square weave carpet, all new glass rubber and seals. It's a really cool tricked out Outlaw, perhaps the only Ghia Outlaw, I have no clue. Bid high and often this is not your 80's custom bondo bomb.
