1967 Eldorado was purchased new on May 10, 1967 at Jim Rathmann Cadillac in Melbourne Florida and first registered in Milwakee Wisconson. The original owners were the Wilke Family who own Leader Paper products, established 1901. The Wilke’s are synonymous with American car racing history. They had Indy 500 wins in 1959, 1962, and with Bobby Unser in 1968. Since the original dealer is near the race track, I assume they purchased this car during one of their trips to the speedway in Florida. The car was sold to the second owner in 1976, a car collector. Then in the 1990’s purchased by Ernie Von Sheldorn, a car dealership owner, for his own personal collection. He stored the car in one of his showrooms. I purchased the car in January 2013 from him with 18,375 miles. The car currently has 19,600 original miles. This is one of the most pristine originals around. The 1967 Eldorado is one of the iconic Cadillacs of all time. This documented car includes the original window sticker, owners manual and owner protection plan with protect-o-plate, and original registrations cards. This car is equipped with all standard Eldorado options for 1967 plus disc brakes, Crystal Firemist paint, cruise control, AM/FM Stereo, dealer installed 8-track. Original vinyl top, and gorgeous black and white houndstooth interior (Dalmation cloth) in magnificent condition. It even has the original Eldorado floor mats and original spare tire and jack. Bright work is in excellent condition. New exhaust, serviced, calipers and wheel cylinders, brakes, power steering pump. The car is serviced drives powerful and smooth. Shifts perfectly. The a/c and cruise do not work. The sentinel sensor needs to be replaced. The rear speakers do not work.
