Black 1987 BMW 325i Convertible 2.5 Liter inline 6 cylinder(Strong running engine) Rear wheel drive Automatic transmission (shifts perfectly does not slip) 147,000 miles This car has many new parts including a complete brake job, fuel injectors,brakes,battery,engine gaskets,full tune up including oil change were just completed. The engine runs good and the transmission shifts nicely. All gauges,lights and power windows work as they should. All 4 Kumho all season tires have good tread. The manual convertible top goes up and down good and is in nice shape except for the rear window will need to be replaced. Not sure why it was issued a reconstructed title way back in 1996 as no major damage can be found besides a small piece of what looks to be body filler that is chipped on the drivers rear quarter panel. There doesn't seem to be any other body filler on the car. All the body lines are nice and the doors,hood and trunk open and close as they should. The body is in pretty good shape except for some scratches,light dings and the normal rust under the rear tail lights which is common for these 28 year old BMW's. The rocker panels are solid. The undercarriage does have a couple small rust holes but nothing that isn't easily fixable or that would alter it's safety. The drivers and rear seats are ripped but the passenger front seat is ok. It has the typical cracked dash over the instrument cluster. Overall the car needs a good cleaning and some tlc and you will have a nice little vintage BMW convertible for the summer. Please understand that this 28 year old car needs minor repairs and is not an award winning car. If you are picky and will torture me about every little thing that needs attention on this car then it is not for you. If you are looking for a perfect one there are a few on ebay from $7,000 and up. Because of my work schedule, I do not have time to show the car to anyone until the auction is over and a deposit is given. I have the right to end this auction at any time.
