Vehicle Detail

1917 Briscoe Touring car. Awesome example of a true survivor and an incredible piece of American automobile history. Briscoe's are a forerunner to today's big 3. The car starts right up, runs beautifully and drives like a 98 year old car. It's a blast to drive. Zero rust anywhere. I believe the interior and all of the wood is original. The paint is old, but presentable. I bought the car 3 years ago. It had sat in storage for many years. I went through the carburetor (The carburetor is built by David Buick) added some fresh premium gas, installed a new battery, cleaned the points and it popped right off. Included is what I believe to be the original jack, tire wrench, owners manual, engine crank, and side curtains. Any questions give me a call 608-697-8366 (Bob) I will assist your hauler of choice in any way I can. The Bricoe is stored in my heated shop. I'm thinning out my collection a bit. I don't have the time to enjoy driving all the cars I own.On Mar-06-15 at 16:43:28 PST, seller added the following information: Certainly there is a huge interest in this car. This car is the real deal survivor original car. It was painful to do but I took some Scotch-Brite to the engine stamp pad as I'm thinking the engine paint is original. The stamping reads 27183 , which matches the firewall stamp. The stamp below is 1216P122. I'm assuming it means Built in December of 1916 and is production #122. I did not research the number. Thanks. Bob
