Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is an immaculate 2013 Mercedes-Benz S550. The car is in near perfect condition. Interior is an easy 10/10. The exterior is a 9.5/10. You will be challenged to find a car this clean. The car has 20,000 miles and is ready to drive - it does not need anything at this time. Tires have good tread on them, and brakes have been replaced recently. Furthermore, an oil change was done about 500-600 miles ago. The vehicle is very heavily optioned. I purchased the vehicle with a flood branded title. I am an ASE Certified Mechanic, and I deal with these types of vehicles all the time (I have references from buyers that have purchased other vehicles from me (Mercedes, BMWs, Infinitis, Audis, Porsches, et cetera) as well. All work done was completed professionally by myself, or my highly trained staff. In this particular vehicle, all damage was contained to the engine itself - not a drop of water to the interior passenger cabin (I can provide pictures of the vehicle from before I purchased/received the vehicle if you would like). Secondly, the water was fresh water, not salt water (this was NOT a hurricane damaged car). The issue was that fresh water was sucked in to the engine through the air intake. This choked the engine whenever the car tried to start. As mentioned above, my shop replaced the entire engine with a new one. It was a complete engine (turbos, intakes, et cetera included). We obviously replaced the oil, oil filter, cabin filter, and the air filter, as well. Everything else was perfect and clean. As a precaution, we also changed all other fluids in the car (though, we found no water in anything but the engine). I am open to having customers set up their own inspections, as well. I have had customers schedule appointments with dealers, or even use my lifts at my shop to complete their own inspections.
