1970 VW Bus, very clean, well cared for. My Son got this bus when he was 14 and began work on it, by the time he got old enough to drive his interest changed and work slowed. He has now gone off to college and does not have the time to continue working and enjoying this wonderful Bus so it is now being sold to the highest bidder to help fund his college tuition. In the time we have had it it has only been driven occasionally to car shows and locally on nice days cruising for ice cream. It has been well taken care of, in the 5 years we have had it, it has been stored indoors and never seen rain or snow. The body is solid, the paint is good and has a nice shine and luster, all glass is in great shape, all seals are new and function as they should. The interior was professionally installed and in very good condition. Some notes on the Bus:Exterior - Shaved front clip, shaved quarter vents, rivera vented windows, newer paint, body is straight, no body rust, there was minimal rust on under carriage, was repaired and coated with POR-15. Interior - Custom Sectional rear and re-upholstrered front seats, dyed dash. Black carpet, factory seat belts up front, none in rear sectional. Suspension - WideFive.net Spindle to Spindle beam kit up front with offset spring plates and shock mounts on the rear, done correctly. Brakes have been rebuilt, function as normal, no leaks. Powder coated wheels, new tires. All original wiring has been replaced with the Watson's Streetworks Wiring Harness and new fuse box, battery in good shape and holds charge.Motor is 1600 single port, single carb, not original motor, mileage unknown, replaced seals, new tins, removed heater boxes, installed J-Tubes. Starts, runs and drives. Transmission and clutch are in good shape, installed new flywheel dowel pins correctly using kit. Things that did not get finished or are in need of repair: The alternator is not changing, most likely caused by instrument cluster not being hooked up.Shifter linkage/bushings are worn, vague feel when shifting, all gears still work and it stays in gear while driving. Dash guages are not hooked up. Turn signal stalk is stuck in the center position, this just recently occurred. There are no seat belts in the rear sectional. No Heater boxes, has J-Tubes installed.
