In 2008 a complete restoration and modern conversion was completed. This vehicle came from California and spent most of its life in Atlanta Georgia until 3 years ago I brought her to Charleston SC....in 2008 she got a modern Chevrolet port injected V8 and automatic overdrive transmission that was removed from a Camaro with low miles and was inspected and refurbished and installed in the Jag. The computers that control the engine and transmission were also converted for the Jag. Other components such as the power steering pump and complete new air condition system was also installed. This Jags brake master cylinder and booster system was also modernized. Gauges and wiring were also updated and renewed. The mechanics are very reliable and everything works! It can be driven daily and also used for a limo or just classic everyday transportation. The complete body was stripped and restored and has no visible rust. Over $100K was spent on this vehicle since at that time cash was not an issue.
