My son has outgrown this so it's time for a new home. It's in really nice original condition right down to the factory plastic. Sold new right here in Simi Valley. Between myself and the last owner it's had quite a bit of recent maintenance done. A new plastic gas tank replaced the rust-prone original. Recent tires and seat cover. I rebuilt the original carburetor, removed and cleaned the neutral switch and installed a brand-new TRX90 recoil starter kit a few months back. The petcock and fuel lines are brand-new as-is the air filter. Fresh oil change. Where we ride is in the middle of nowhere about an hour away so I make sure everything is done and running tip-top before we get out there. These bikes you can't bump start so it was important to have a pull starter we could count on. With that I just put on a brand-new, modern, less-complicated and ultra-reliable TRX90 recoil kit which makes it trouble-free from here on out. The bike starts runs and rides as it should and creates no smoke whatsoever. Keep in mind it's a 1986 model made for smaller kids so it's fairly simple but that's the great thing about these. It has an auto clutch transmission so you can put a smaller child on it and let them ride all day in second gear. The other nice thing about these is the 90s are limited to 12 and older whereas the 70s can be legally ridden by the smaller kids. Size-wise it fits in the back of VW Golf so it's very transportable without a trailer. The rear grab bar broke off and I didn't bother re-attaching it since the next owner might want one of the nicer aftermarket aluminum ones. I have a clean, clear title in my name and the tags are good until June 2016.
