This is a very solid truck. Body lines are very straight, the bed lines and cab lines flow nice and straight from front to back. Door gaps are nice and even, and close pretty good without having to slam doos over and over.. Floors are rock solid. There was a small rust hole on passenger side but a nice thick plate covered it up nicely. The original bench seat is in awesome condition minus a little tear on the drivers side upper portion. But the springs are solid, plenty of cushion left, padding isnt all deterorated. The adjustment lever ( to slide seat back and forth ) works perfectly. It glides smoothly locks solidly into the different positions. While it mght not seem like a deal breaker, I thinks it's the little details like these that a lot of people overlook or dont think about when looking at old cars. The inside steps are solid. No sign of rust. The inside roof, gas tank, behind bench seat are all rock solid. The wooden bed is in pretty good condition minus a couple slats that need replacing, but all the metal rails are there. The rear glass is in awesome condition. Front windshield in very good condition, both vent window glasses are separating a little ( the two window panes glued together have bubbles on some of the edges), the driver window has minimal separation and the passenger window looks fine. Windows roll up and down fine and the vent windows swing open a close as they are supposed to. The dash is in tact and not all hacked up and all the knobs are still there. No extra holes made over the years. It has the slot for the factory radio just no radio. The glove box liner is there and in good condition. Heater box still there and even sticker is still very legible. The engine runs smoothly it just needs a tune up or maybe carb rebuild. The brakes were working when the truck was taken on test drive around the neighborhood but they just lost pressure. I will try to rebleed them asap. The exhaust was cut off before the mufflers but it actually sounds like a mean muscle car instead. It appears to have the factory v8 and 3 on the tree manual transmission. The baby moon hubcaps will come with the truck but they were not completely installed, I mocked them up for pictures but as I said, they will come with the truck. Also the tires should be considered rollers and I really wouldnt put in hard long miles on them. They hold air and no wires are showing but should be replaced fairly soon. Original seat belts still intact, a little stiff but I'm sure they can be softened up. All the hinge boxes are solid Only a couple of rust spots. One is above the passengers side rear window and the other down at the bottom of the cab on the passenger side. Part of the reason for this sale is to replace equipment, one being my welder. So if a person chooses to buy the truck with the " buy it now" price, I will cut out the rust spots and replace with nice fresh, rust free sheetmetal prior to delivering the truck FOR FREE!!!
