Vehicle Detail

It is a privilege to offer such a wonderful, rare and desirable car. There were 1292 made, it is believed that less than 100 still exist, and there can't be many that are nicer than this. It spent its life in SW Nebraska. I feel this is the perfect place for a car to reside. The folks are conservative and care for their cars, the environment is favorable and salt was never used on the roads. A friend found this car six years ago in original condition. He drove it home. He had plans, but they did not involve a restoration to the scope of the one that was performed. This ended up being a complete frame-off restoration. Minimal body repairs were performed. All new glass, interior, soft goods and lines were installed. The brakes were all replaced, the suspension rebuilt, a new powertrain installed, all stainless was straightened and polished, $20,000 was spent on chrome plating, modifications were made and many NOS parts were installed. The engine is now a fuel injected RamJet 350 and it is backed by a Tremec 5 speed. The driveshaft is new and it feeds the bullet-proof original Pontiac rear-end with 3.90 gears. Power brakes and power steering from a 1969 Chevelle were added. They were all new parts. Painless wiring was utilized throughout the car. Vintage heat and A/C were added. A new vintage AM/FM sound system was installed. A GM van tilt column and '68 wood steering wheel were added. All the chrome, both inside and out, was re-plated. Some pieces were replaced with NOS parts. Everything is there and it is all fabulous. The interior is very correct with the correct material and pattern used. The carpet is a nice loop and it is covered by Pontiac floor mats. The body is laser straight. The base coat/clear coat finish is show worthy. There are no apologies needed. This car is simply stunning. It performs flawlessly. The gearing and transmission offer high speed travel at reasonable RPM. All systems have been well conceived and have proven reliable over 2000 miles since restored. The total mileage on the vehicle is 96155. We recently found a correct steering wheel which is included with the car. This is a piece of automotive history. It is an honor to own. We hope you feel the same way. Buyer is responsible for all transportation and transportation costs. A $2000.00 down-payment is due within 24 hours of the auction end with full payment due within 72 hours of auction end. The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Please call to discuss the quality of this car or make a reasonable offer. 920-723-7304 Bob
