Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE For sale is a very nice 1978 Z28 Camaro. Matching numbers with the original motor and drive train. I bought the car at the Mecum Auto Auction 4 years ago. I had my mechanic go over the car before and after the show and he found nothing wrong and felt the car was in very good condition inside and out. The car has the original V8 350 engine with TH350 automatic transmission. Everything on the car works fine. It drives and handles great, runs and stops straight! Powertrain: The original 350ci engine and TH350 transmission. The pictures of the engine show how clean both the engine and engine compartment are. Going over the car it is obvious the following are all new… fan clutch, steering sector and lines, master cylinder, booster and break lines, alternator, water pump, battery, the A/C lines look new, the compressor is very clean, but I can’t tell how old it is. Dual exhaust, does not smoke, idles great and has a nice rumble sound out the exhaust. Interior: Very nice for a 36 year old car… the interior is in very good condition! There are no cracks anywhere on the console or dash and the headliner is in perfect shape. The seats, dash, door panels, arm rest and the carpet have no rips or tears and are in very good condition. All gauges work including tach. The original radio has been replaced with a Sony CD / AM FM with an Alpine amplifier mounted in the trunk. Exterior: Is also very nice… the car was repaint in 2005. I consider the paint to be in very good condition. There is a small ding and paint chip on the lower part of the driver’s door and one on the quarter panel. The emblems and stripping are also in very good condition. The wheels are original and paint match the car. Tires are B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A with 80+ percent of the rubber remaining.
