1993 mercedes benz 400 E. I purchased from private owner in Phoenix, AZ. Car originally sold at Scottsdale Mercedes. Have original manual and service log in cases. Car has been in Arizona until Aug. 2013 when I drove it and most of my effects to Fort Yates, North Dakota (nearest to Bismark,ND or Mobridge, SD.) I drove it daily and touring the region until Sept. 2014 when the catalytic went kaput. Car has NO rust. Glass is great, windows and doors and trunk and sunroof and seats and accys all pretty much work. Paint can either be rubbed out and waxed more or get it painted, top surfaces are faded, but do color up and take a shine. I have done repairs, and also independent Mercedes/German Import specialist garage for such as AC system, Fuel injection harness, alignment. At this point you can pick up cheap one of the finest sporty rocket sedans of the period, that is actually not bad to work on or buy parts for, that gets great milage even today, gets thumbs up, people don't care about the year, they just say "nice Mercedes." Plus it has been about least costly car I've had in years to insure. There you go. Terms: I'm just a guy selling his car, reluctantly, on ebay. I have Pay Pal account. (Concerning Title Record: I believe what happened is that the 'owner(s)" bought the car from private party or wholesale auction with a 'salvage' title. Yes I believe the car was in an accident in "03" and the left front fender was replaced along with what ever front end parts required. I think work is shown in past owner record as done by dealer. The Title company when I bought the car then converted title to "rebuilt." None of this concerned me, I just wanted a title in my name & registered, insured and start driving! ) (I guess I got a bit sensitive about how Ebay/autocheck portrays record...)
