This is an all original 79 Honda CR 125r with the exception of the rear progressive shocks. This bike has been raced and maintained for vintage racing. Mechanically it is reading to go to the next race. Will be moving up to the 250 class next year, so decided to offer this one for sale. Here's list of what's been done: New Tires front and rear, rims are straight and true with no cracks - New Progressive shocks- New needle bearings in swing arm- K&N air filter- Front forks serviced with Bel-Ray oil. New seals and crank bearings with approximately 1 hour of run time. Rod is tight with no up and down play. New Wiseco piston with 3 race's on it, probably no more than 2 hours of run time. Chain and sprockets are in good shape. Transmission inspection was done when replacing crank bearings and seals and showed no issues (shifts thru the gears as it should). New gaskets throughout and ready to go to the next race or restore the cosmetic's to OEM and put it your collection.79 is a one year only model and are fast becoming collectable. It has been modified with a different end cap for better low end torque, The original spark arrestor end cap will be included. Also included for a complete package is the Factory muffler ( photo included) 18330-444-007 for better high end performance for a fast dry track. Also have the original Bridgestone tires, if you would like to restore to original. za
