50' Shoebox Ford Custom 2 Door. NO RESERVE! Texas barn find car in good restorable condition. V8 Flathead runs smooth, 3 speed manual on tree shifts fine and car drives but brakes need some work to be a good daily driver. Original black car has never seen any major wrecks and has absolutely no body filler. The hood is correct and FoMoCo but not original. You can see exactly what you get. I have replaced the windshield and rear glass and can verify there was no rust around windows. DP90 Epoxy primer was sprayed on the top and in the window rails prior to glass installation to prevent any future rust issues. There is evidence of rust in the rockers (see pictures) and new replacement rocker panels are in the trunk. There is some rust in the front floor boards and trunk (again see pictures). The doors, fenders, drip rails, deck lid, rear trunk/fender/bumper valance area and wheel wells are all rust free. Pretty amazing given age. The car took a scrape down the passenger side and the trim has been removed but repairable and in the trunk. Very solid restorable car or just lower it and drive it as is! The wide white wall tires look to be a few years old but still have 90% of their tread and all hold air. The taillights are working but the headlights don't. Most of the gauges aren't working either. All the parts are there but it needs work to get everything working. Still running on original 6V system. Interior still has original seats with Mexican blankets. All glass is there including the functioning wing windows. All glass is good with the exception of the cracked drivers side front window. All interior window garnish is either in place or in trunk. No carpet or floor liner so you can see everything. What's in the trunk- new repro rockers panels, 2 radiators (assume need repair), new weather stripping for doors and trunk (waiting on paint), frenched tail light kit with another pair of lenses, door sill plates, interior window garnish, original side moldings, stainless original rear window trim, headliner bows, heater controls and other miscellaneous bits and pieces. Car has been in Texas its entire life and I have a clean clear title. The car is for sale locally (Houston area) and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. I bought it for my Dad and recently got it back. If I had the space and time for it I would keep it for myself! Good Luck and thanks for looking.
