Vehicle Detail

Hello, before starting: This Jeep needs some work, but it is basically solid and has had a lot of work done. If you think it will run 100k more without spending a dime on it please look elsewhere. also, please look around so you know what this is worth. not trying to be smart about it, just fair and honest. The bad: transmission was rebuilt ( $1500) at 140k before I bought it at 170k. it has a whine when in gear but has run good the whole time. I have another transmission with about 77k on it to be included with purchase. some rust on left rocker panel, still repairable. dent on back corner of hood and fender-cosmetic only (was that way when I bought it). needs a rear wheel cylinder put on, I think I have it, if not I will get you one. check engine light on and off intermittently with erratic idle. shut off and restart and will purr like a kitten. see the condition/description section for more details. the good: have replaced many parts with new (except as noted), including the battery, alternator and belt, fuel pump, ignition coil pack, crankshaft sensor, throttle position sensor, used camshaft sensor, radiator, upper and lower radiator hoses, water pump, thermostat, both front wheel bearings, all four ball joints, computer (remanufactured, I think that is where the check engine light is coming from, the only code on the scan tool is for manufacturer control, can't recall exact code #) exhaust manifold, downpipe, catalytic convertor, both O2 sensors, muffler, tailpipe. tires have about 50% tread. was Pa state inspected in Aug or Sept, 2014 and now for the engine history: when I bought the jeep, I was told no problems. drove 200 miles home, 1/2 gallon low coolant, started adding and adding and adding... called seller and he said not his problem. I researched and found out that head was changed for 2000-01 models and are prone to cracking at 100-120k. at 177k, I then replaced engine with one from a 1994 Cherokee with about 77k on it. (also spare tranny donor) engine was from wrecked vehicle and sat for some years, it does use a little oil but not a smoke machine, maybe some seafoam would help. the only changes required to do this is to make brackets to mount the coil pack and to use complete exhaust from 96-98 Cherokee, which is what I did. everything else is factory for the year. reason for selling: I have a 1989 wrangler that I converted to RHD myself but when I went full time and got a larger route I could not fit all my mail. I bought the Cherokee for $3700 and went to work on it. My route is 86 miles a day and when gas went to $4 gallon, I decided to move on to more fuel efficient vehicle. I bought a forester, sent to England for rhd dash and rack and ta dah... rhd Subaru. Gas is back to 2.50, but I have to let one of the three RHD's that I have go. also, I do have the passenger seat and rear bottom. $65 weatershade pictured is included.
