Vehicle Detail
This is a 1975 Ford Crew Cab 4-door 2WD pickup that I bought to restore. I went through it mechanically; it runs like a top. Replaced the failed heater core with a new one. Lights, signals, wipers, etc. all work. Automatic transmission shifts as it should, and the truck drives straight and smoothly. The truck shows under 100K on the odometer, and appears to be original Overall, it's fairly straight. Not perfect by any stretch, but these are hard to find. Some minor dents near where the emblems would be. The driver's door has been switched, but I have the door data tag that is original to the truck. It has a new battery, cooling system gone through and sound. Runs extremely smoothly after warming up, very quite truck with good exhaust. There is some floor rust on the passenger side, one spot about 4" square, and another about 2". The back doors both have a little starting in the back corner. There undoubtedly are other small areas I don't see offhand, but those are the ones that stand out. Nothing major. It has a trailer ball in the bed for a gooseneck trailer; just remove it if you don't want to use it. I DO have the side trim that is shown missing in the pictures. Interior has no carpet or mat, and the headliner is out. Gauages and interior lights are in working order. The only other thing I'd fix mechanically is there is a bearing in the upper portion of the steering column that is worn out, and you can move the wheel up and down a bit, and you can feel it drag just a bit when turning. Not a safety issue, but it would be inexpensive to simply swap in a nice used column. I recently opened a body and paint shop, and need to sell some of my projects to rally cash. I have some other stuff too that's going up for sale soon, including a '70 K5 Blazer, '72 Bronco, '72 K/10 Chevy Cheyenne Super, and more. Check my other auctions. I need to be paid within three days of auction's end by a deposit into my Bank of America account, or bank wire transfer. The truck is almost 40 years old, and therefore being sold as-is, without any warranty or guarantee expressed, written, or implied. She's a solid car, and I've done my best to describe her as accurately as possible. Shipping is the full responsibility of the buyer; the truck is located at my shop in Gresham, Oregon 97030. You may call me directly at 360-936-9257 with any questions you may have. I will store the truck for up to a month for free if that helps you. International or low-feedback bidders MUST contact me first; I don't want to wait two weeks for an international payment to happen. Clear title in hand. This will be a good one for you to restore as you drive it.On Dec-28-14 at 09:48:58 PST, seller added the following information: I have been asked about the rear axle ratio... the door code is 27, which decodes for 4.10 Dana 70 ratio.
