I have owned Volvo's for 30 years. First 244DL I put 517,000 miles. This 1998 Volvo is in fantastic condition. The seats don't even have creases in them. They are wax about every month or two and sheepskin covers on them since I have owned it. Dash looks new. No cracks and has had a dash pad on since I owned it. This car has spent most of its life in North Central Florida. Moved to N.W. Arkansas two years ago. I was nursing a leaking radiator and it over heated and blew head gasket. I do not believe there is any water in the oil. I bought a new radiator, Gasket kit and transmission cooler line clips and was going to have it fixed. I have a bass boat and decided to just get a bigger Volvo and went with a XC 90. Work that has been done on it in the last year. Timing belt, water pump, serpentine belt, New axles, wheel hubs, motor mounts, Struts/shocks in front. I had the drive shelf for rear wheels removed when I towed it to Arkansas and left it off as it gets better gas milage. Drove in ice and snow last year and it did great. Still have shaft and bolts. I loaned it to a friend about three years ago and something went wrong with the mother. I had the motor, transmission and turbo replace. These all have about 70.000 miles in them. Had the mass air flow replaced also. Air condition replaced three years ago. This year the heater core was replaced. Everything worked great until I parked it about two months ago. Tires are still in good shape. Paints is nice and shines like new money. There are some scratches on the passenger side doors and a dent at the bottom where I backed into some landscaping rocks.
