Vehicle Detail

Okay; Here is the scoop. This is not a creampuff type truck. It has been my field pickup all summer but I have changed to a 4wd pickup for the rest of the winter. What you will appreciate is a total lack of rust on this. Near as we can tell it came up here to are semiarid country from the south. There is no rust on the body, wheels, doors, etc. I am still driving this, so it will have more miles on than when listed. I drove it for my field checking and errand running rig all summer. AC is ice cold and the new heater core makes it warm inside. I think all lights and controls are still working correctly. Doesn't drool oil all over. I get a spot on my garage floor occassionally, but doesn't have the usual main seal problems. I replaced any switches and controls that didn't work right. Gauges, dash lights, etc. work. Has wrong sender in place so when oil pressure hits, it bottoms the gauge out. I am including 2 new senders. One for gauge and one for light. Has keyless remote and it works. Has recent tune, shocks, alternator, heater core, water pump, and more. Has a clunk in a weak strut bushing. Hey, it's a Ford thing. The A.I.R. pump is locked up and bypassed. This pickup is far from new inside or out, but is a nice riding outfit that starts, runs, drives, and stops as you would expect from a $2,000-4,000 truck. It is a nice 20 year old pickup, some things do not work as new. Paint is amazingly good where it doesn't have scratches. Upper surface has been repainted years ago. There is an assortment of small dings and scratches from the last 20 years, but it is still a respectable looking truck. The absolutely rustfree, beatup bumper on the rear is a very good indication of the saltfree environment this unit came from. I don't think it shows up very well in the pics but there is a small dent in the ridge in the center of the hood. Other dings should show up. Unit is not hailed. Sorry, I cannot take any credit for any ding or scratch on the pickup. They were all there when I got it. Hey, it's a cheap, decent truck. Factory jack and handle are in place. Interior is fairly good and doesn't smell. I added the dash pad over a dash that has some cracks on the small pad on the right. Stereo works and sounds great. Wheels have no rust. Tires are 50% tread, matching Khumo's. Brakes are quiet and up. Exhaust doesn't appear to have any leaks. It is also quiet. Never heated on me in 100 degree weather. Warms up fast. Winshield has a crack across the very top. Hasn't gone anywhere all summer and fall. I painted an old crossover toolbox in and out and it goes as soon as I unload my tools. We load at no extra cost 9-5 Mon-Fri. Other times are $50 cash. We are Father/son operation and this time of the year we are attending auctions, etc. so check first to make sure we are here for you or your shipper. Don't waste a trip. We do not charge for storage. We have a farm with 100 other vehicles, so it is not a problem for 6 months or so. Just keep in touch. Remember; when you win the bid, it is your truck; insure it. We should be safe from hail/tornadoes for a few months yet. We are able to calculate what we need for a unit, so we don't have to do the "Gotcha" charges at the end of the sale. What you bid is what you pay when you win the unit, nothing else. This is a NO RESERVE auction. Since I used it for the last 6 months, I have written off a lot of my work for the use. Every bid can own the pickup. Be careful. Get your ducks in a row first. Have fun. Unless prior arrangements have been made $500 is due by Paypal within 48 hrs of end of auction.
