Vehicle Detail
1972 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible 1 Owner Garage Kept Very Original Car Cognac Mettalic ExteriorAntique Saddle Interior 500 CID V8Automatic Transmission Fully Loaded The car had one owner a Mrs. Susan Skankus who received this Eldorado as a gift for a late birthday present on July 4, 1972. She drove it a total of 79,000 miles by 1979. At that point the car was put away in the garage and only received use a few times a summer until a few years ago when she unfortunately passed away in 2009. Her husband sent the car to Cadillac at that point for a full service ($5,000) and the car was once again ready to go. The car has always been started regurally and never sat for any extended period of time. For the paint being as old as it is, its almost blemish free! The three imperfections in the paint are on each side where the parade boot would be installed and are too minute to photograph. The third blemish is a touched up 2" long minute scratch on the bottom of the passenger side quarter panel. There is some minor rust as it is completely original. The chrome is as close to being untouched as it can possibly be for 1972 vintage. The interior completely original. The only blemish you can find on the interior is a tiny crack in the drivers side door panel too shallow to see and about 1" in length. All lights, gauges, signals, horn, air conditioning work as it should. The top is power and the top is brand new, the original top has some minor shrinkage issues and a top of the line OEM replacement was used with a glass rear window. We are selling this car because it does not fit in our garage.
