Vehicle Detail
Well I'm sure no expert on Camaro's, but I just aquired this 1969 Camaro from a lady, who has had it sitting in a barn for the last 25 years. (last liscence tags were in 1989). So this is what I would call a "Barn Find". Here is what I know.... This is an X-44 code car which came with a 350 v-8, and a manual 3 speed transmission. It has manual steering, and manual brakes etc. The car is very much original, and very much un-molested, and almost 100% complete. The engine spins free and was running fine when last driven. It is filthy dirty and just how I found it. For the most part, the floors, trunk, rockers, ect. are very good and not rusty like most. You can see that the fenders and Quatrers are rusty. (but original). The car is in Colorado and our dry air is a real plus. This X-44 car is what most all of the COPO 427 clone cars are built from. You could make a dandy COPO car out of this carmaro... and remember... It has the factory clutch peddle assembly. My opening bid is $4,300.00 with no reserve. This car is almost 45 years old and being sold as is. ( Not running). I would much rather you plan for the worst, and hope for the best, than be disappointed in anyway. Now all this having been said... I cant imagine finding a neater, or a more buildable 1969 camaro x-44 coupe like this for the price. I only want the buyer to be as excited as I was when I found it.I do not forsee any disapointments. Terms of sale...I can not ship..... This means I can not crate, box, disassemble, or deliver to a shipping company. I will however be more than happy to assist your shipper, however I can. If you have zero feedback, contact me before you bid or your bid will be canceled, and you will be blocked from further bidding as well.
