Vehicle Detail
Putting a feeler out there for my 1979 Malibu. Car has a 2008 LY6 6.0L (Square Port Heads), with an LS3 Camshaft/VVT delete. Vehicle body shows around 24k on the odometer last I checked. Car is immaculate inside and out for it's age. Body appears to have been repainted by previous owner at some point, but appears to have been done by a professional as there are no real issues to point out. Body is straight and clean. Interior is equally as impressive, however there is no heater/AC controls. I have them (they were provided with the car when I bought it) but haven't bothered to install them. The Heater/AC box and Evap Core are all in the vehicle still, just need the controls installed and hooked up. Being as the car only sees car shows and street use, I never bothered with it as it didn't bother me. Drivetrain is as follows:2008 LY6 6.0L, LS3 CamshaftPSI Valve SpringsVVT Delete via LS3 Cam/timing coverOn3 Performance 78/76 MM turboAdjustable boost controllerCustom turbo kit with downpipe integrated wastegate, full single exhaust to rear axle with dump, Dynomax bullet muffler. It is fully tuned currently for 91 octane pump gas and 10psi of boost. Car is an excellent example of the older Malibu's. I do love it, but want to put a feeler out there for it. If the price is right, i'd let go of it finally. My plans are, if it still around come spring, i'll continue into next year having my fun with it.Clean Kansas title, ready to sign over. call or text for videos 785-675-one973On Dec-22-14 at 08:22:05 PST, seller added the following information: The car has not been on the dyno. I am guessing it has between 500-600 RWHP. On Dec-23-14 at 06:01:57 PST, seller added the following information: Reserve price is $10,750. On Dec-24-14 at 04:56:44 PST, seller added the following information: More pictures were added today On Dec-25-14 at 06:41:28 PST, seller added the following information: I just wanted to clarify that the 2nd fuel pump is not currently hooked up. It is not needed running 10psi boost, the first pump holds up fine. If somebody wants to turn it up the 2nd pump just has a connector under the hood that needs to be plugged in and wired. I also have a lot of people trying to purchase before auction ends at the reserve. I am just going to let it bid out, so everyone has a fair chance to buy this car. On Dec-25-14 at 07:09:05 PST, seller added the following information: Another question that keeps coming up "is there any rust" There is no rust that i know of. I have looked the car over and haven't been able to find any rust. If there is I am unaware of it. The passenger side floor board has been patched at one time. The bottom of the car looks like it has been painted black, not sure if its just paint or special undercarriage coating. Also as you can see in the pictures the truck has been coated also.
