Nice clean looking AMC JEEP Comanche 4WD pickup, 4.0L bullet proof inline 6 cyl (131,000mi), great working 4WD, clean looking body for it's age, tons of NEW here including new custom wheels and new Cooper AT2 all terrain tires, new tonneau cover, new exhaust with MAGNAFLOW muffler (sounds cool), new fuel tank, new rear brakes, new shocks with 3" lift in front end, rear axle and seals, left front ball-joints, right tie-rod end, steering stabilizer. This truck looks fantastic and starts and runs down the road at 65mph great, my son spent a ton of money on the truck then decided that he wanted an F-150 but while we were thinking of listing it for sale, the tranny went out so now we're faced with wholesaling it to someone who can swap the tranny out for a new or used one. I did a little research and a warrantied used tranny sells for as little as $250, with re-man trannies selling on ebay for $750.Professional installation of the tranny would be about $800 in our area, unless an individual can do it themselves. In either case you'd have a nice running 4WD Classic pickup for not a lot of $$$. The truck starts and runs/drives nice, just can't go beyond 1st gear with the bad trans. Whoever buys this truck needs to get it out of here reasonably quick, as I don't have room for all of these vehicles (new F150 is here already).
