Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 1969 Dodge Charger project car. This is a car I had plans to build into a General Lee. However since I'm not yet finished with my other project this car is now being sold. This Charger is a perfect restoration project for a General Lee. It was a 318 Automatic car but currently has no motor or trans. The car was originally a gold car with a tan interior. This Charger is mostly complete with a few parts missing. The Charger has solid frame rails which is a huge plus. The Roof is solid but has rust around the rear window which most chargers had. The trunk and rear 1/4's will need replaced but rest easy, included in this auction is a new set of 1/4's, rear valance, trunk floor with extensions. The sheet metal is for a 68 but since I was going to make a General Lee it didn't matter to me seeing as how I was going to shave the side marker lights. The Floors in the car will need replacing. The grill in the car is in not to bad of shape but needs attention in the center. I am also including in the auction another 69 grill which is not perfect but very nice overall condition and could be used as is and you would be proud of it. The Charger still has it's 8 3/4 rear under it. The Charger was a power steering a/c car. The Charger had Bucket seats with the shift on the column. The seats are still currently in the Charger but will need to be redone. There are a few glass items missing such as the rear window, and side window. However glass for these chargers can be found easily. Since this car isn't a numbers matching car or a R/T and it is in need of a full restoration it is perfect for the General Lee Build. I want to stress this car will not be put on the road as a driver after a weekend of wrenching in the garage. IT IS A PROJECT. This charger has a clear Oklahoma title and has current registration. This is great since so many cars are sold without titles and it is getting tougher everyday to obtain one. I encourage any interested person to come view and inspect this project before bidding. I will answer any and all questions about the charger. This car is also being listed in time for Christmas and the winter project. The buyer is totally responsible for the shipping of the charger. I will assist in any possible way to help with loading of this charger. It is the buyers responsibility to make the arrangements with the shipper for the extra sheet metal and the extra grill. Once the parts leave my property I'm not responsible or liable for any damage caused during shipping. So explain this to your shipping vendor. At the end of the auction a $500 non-refundable deposit is due. If the deposit is not received I will re-list the Charger almost immediately. I will accept Cashiers check or money order or bank wire transfer, or cash in person. The vehicle will not be released until all funds have cleared my bank. As soon as the funds are deposited into my account I will send the title and registration to the charger by certified mail at my expense to the buyer. The Charger is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early. Please look at the pictures and ask all important questions prior to bidding and please be a good ebay account holder and only bid if you have full ability to buy and pay for the car. On Dec-18-14 at 13:24:07 PST, seller added the following information: I welcome any and all bidders to my auction. However, if you are a zero feedback bidder you must contact me first or your bid will be canceled. My auction has made the reserve price and will be sold. If a zero feedback bidder wins the auction who has not contacted me prior to bidding I will not honor the bid and will default to the next highest reputable bidder.
