1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Two Door HARDTOP with Factory Continental Kit. Came from the factory with 292 V8 two barrel. Steering column replaced with newer tilt column. This auction includes the original 292 engine and engine parts as seen in the photos, including the air cleaner sitting on the back seat. 4 speed has been added with floor shift. Transmission is in car right now. This baby was built at Ford's Long Beach, California facility. Original color was Continental White over Coral Sand. Interior is newer upholstered grey. Standard rust at hood lip, trunk hinge rusted, rust / some holes in trunk area and rust in some areas of the body as can be expected of a 57 year old unrestored car. I have included 24 photos from every imaginable angle to show EXACTLY what you are bidding on. 24 photos are all ebay allows on their car auction ads, so if you have ANY questions please resolve your concerns by emailing me BEFORE bidding. As to the other areas of the car I cannot tell the condition of the floorboards because the carpet covers every square inch of it. Both doors sag a bit and are hard to close. There is not a single missing piece of moulding or trim on the entire exterior of the car that I can find and, overall, the trims pieces are in remarkably good condition. CLEAR Washington state title. This is NOT a salvage or reconstructed title. This would be as nice a project as can be found overall but much work and effort will be needed before she will shine to the level of her past glory.
