This is a one of a kind pick-up, the likes of which you wont see many of. A four wheel drive Supercab f-250 with a more modern 7.3 IDI turbo diesel. This truck has power to spare and a very aggressive exhaust note with straight pipes. (no mufflers) This vehicle is registered in California as a Diesel, so there is NO SMOG REQUIRED!!! This vehicle is driven daily and runs fantastic. the four wheel drive is in great working condition and the truck starts every time and gets excellent mileage. The truck has absolutely no mechanical issues other than a valve cover gasket leak which i have not had time to replace yet( Drips about 5 drops when parked overnight). These Ruggedly handsome 74-79 ford trucks are gaining in popularity and value, making this truck a very sound investment. This Classic has the power, reliability and prestige of any modern Diesel in a much more handsome package. These trucks are getting very difficult to find in a super cab, harder to find in 4 wheel drive, and when will you ever see another one with a powerful Turbo Diesel? Mileage on the engine is unknown but the vehicle runs strong, does not use oil and emits the exact amount of black smoke that it should. The 4 speed granny box was recently rebuilt and the body is in amazing condition. The cab corners are perfect and I have not seen any rust on the truck anywhere. This is a very manly truck and as such, it has a very stiff clutch. Payment in full due within 72 hours of close of auction.
