Okay, no bids on this Merc last week, but I don't have the space for it. I am re-listing it for about the scrap value, which is $400 bucks.This has been my daily driver for the last year. Car is all original, V-8 4.5 liter overhead cam, 3-speed automatic , engine runs strong, tranny shifts well, drives well, brakes work great. Smokes on over-run so it needs valve guide seals, tranny leaks and it will need front and rear seals. Doesn’t seem to burn very much engine oil. Speedo shows 88k miles but the odometer is not working since I have had it. Rust in bottom of fenders and elsewhere as well as surface rust, rust is definitely fixable if you want to put the time into it. Paint is mostly original everywhere. Interior is original and is in decent shape for an old car. These are cool cars and fun to drive, restore it or use for parts for your builder. Here are the items that don’t work (everything else does): rear window defroster, AC (everything is there), power door locks (key works), odometer, clock, electric radiator fan (fan work and it never overheats without the fan).
