1948 Chevrolet Two Door Sedan for Sale Barn find. Runs, moves and stops. Front disc brakes and automatic transmission. This car is not subframed. Just an aftermarket disc brake kit installed. Later model 250 Cubic Inch six cylinder engine. Runs but needs tune up. Older model 1955-57 Chevrolet rear end. GM Turbo 350 Trans. Correct motor mounts for 250 engine. Car runs off of a gas bottle. Newer gas tank in trunk. Later model S-10 Wheels. This car needs a total restoration but would be good for a restoration winter project or a rat rod project. New accelerator linkage installed and newer battery. Floors are there but were done over a long time ago. Trunk is in good shape. Trunk Lid and hood in good shape. Original back seat. Two bucket seats up front; not mounted. Look like older Cavalier seats. Turn signal works on the column; even lights up on the end of the lever. This is not an expensive car. Bid as you are able. I have a good TN title and it's looking for a new home. The car is located in the NE corner of Tennessee not far from Kingsport, TN. We are about 8 miles off of Interstate 81. Also, I have had questions on the rear bumper. I do have it and it is in the car near the back seat. Also, on body condition. There are dents on the roof of the car. Looks like when it was in the barn, they may have used it as a ladder or platform to get to a loft. (just a guess)
