Vehicle Detail

A Beautiful 1956 Buick Super that is an absolute show stopper at car shows and people cannot stop talking about it wherever we go. Of all the cars I have owned it is this one that gets the most attention and the most compliments. People are always taking pictures of it. The Super is similar to the Roadmaster in body style. The car was put together by some good ole boys from Oklahoma and they did a very nice job with this Buick. This would be a very expensive car to duplicate with the computer control, complete painless wiring, corvette engine transplant, corvette transmission, ladder bar suspension, late model GM rear end, 20 inch Eagle rims, chrome stainless long tube headers with stainless exhaust and front disc brakes. The car has a wonderful power curve, it will drive anywhere at any speed and turns heads everywhere. This corvette now engine in this Buick were made for each other. The drive train had only 48000 miles and now has about 60000 miles. The 1956 style with the distinctive red and black colors are set off by lots of chrome. The interior is comfortable although it does need some work. It needs the front door panels and the top of the rear seat covered. The fabric texture and colors should be an easy match. The front seat could also use cleaning. The headliner is custom and follows a musical theme, a nice accent. It has a nice CD stereo system that seems to play Elvis a lot. The windshield has some seal failure across the bottom but it does not obstruct vision. It has been converted to electric wipers. The emergency brake does work with the original pedal connected to the new rear end I would call the paint a 7 due to chips and weak spots. The bottoms of the doors in the red area are presentable, no rust problems, but not the best finish work, really no rust problems anywhere. The front and rear bumpers have been aluminized with a high temperature process to spray metal coatings. The bottom of the car is very clean and the restoration included all new lines and a new gas tank There is a brand new spare tire and brand new rim and jack in the trunk. The horn does not work and the dash lights come on in the second position but not the head light position. I have included a new headlight switch. All of the other lights work. The car received a full painless wiring kit with the new drivetrain installation, so completely re-wired. The computer is mounted under the front seat. Please remember this is an attractive car but not a 100 point show car. It does have defects in the paint and the interior and needs a few things. Overall it is a very nice car that you can drive anywhere in style. You will probably never see another one like it. I am selling the car because I need the money for college, not because I want to. As always I am trying to give a very detailed description of this car as I don't want there to be any surprises. I have been on the receiving end of several surprises on e bay much to my dismay. I pick up the pieces, make it right and go on with life.
